i went to the doctor today and unfortunately i have been diagnosed with yokune ruko fan . i love his voices i love his caffeine and gambling addiction and i love making him sound like he hasn't had water in three days . when i was starting out UTAU in 2023 he was so popular that he was basically unavoidable , so he snuck up on me , but i was like :/ until last year when i made a twitter account and joined (lurked) voca-twitter . i drew art for ruko day last year but i heard artificial enemy for the first time earlier this year . and i was listening to the vy2v3 cover and said to myself 'maybe i'll give tuning ruko a try i think he'd sound ok' and guess what happened (￢_￢;) go on , guess . the mailwoman pulls up to my house and says 'did you order a ruko hyperfixation' and i'm like 'no?' and she goes 'oh so you're not the person drawing him writing about him listening to all ruko covers ever following his voice providers and shipping him with your UTAU? that's not you?' and honestly gagged because he's living in my head rent-free ...
this is my first AMV . this was my first time trying typography . this is my first completed animation project since my blank banshee animation in 9th grade and it's for RUKO . so you can see the effect he has on me . i started this project in july and it is november and this was supposed to go up on ruko's birthday but it is a late birthday present now . i drew all the art assets at like 2 in the morning so the steven universe slipped out my art style . i couldn't get japanese text in vegas so i wrote out all the subtitles by hand and now i recognize more kanji than i ever thought i would in my life . and it was so fun making it and it also proves that hey i can do stuff like this now . i'm gonna try to do actual animations frame by frame for my next MVs with ritsu and suzu and kaiser , but i will be making more with ruko because i really like drawing him n tuning him . i have a cover with hikachi-ruko on the way if you like that voice more than the kire bank . now that i know how moresampler works i change everything ever about his voice . but with all that yap out the way . happy late birthday ruko :3
