I originally released an instrumental-only version of this song after hearing that two people I knew had allegedly committed suicide. While this ended up being false (and they're both physically okay), it reminded me just how uncertain a person's presence in our life really is.

Anyway, I felt inspired to write lyrics for this song after seeing an artist write lyrics and add vocals to their instrumental song. I chose to use Gumi because her voice felt oddly perfect when trying it out with her trial version. I hope you enjoy it.
