snowy moth maiden- 2027 snow miku submission

here is my submission for snow miku 2027 !!!

my idea was a mysterious singing forest guide inspired by a moth, that guides travelers through the forest with her lamp song. the 'metamorphosis' comes from the moth, a species that undergoes this transformation- her dress and cape is meant to convey a cocoon and wings transformation. the 'secret' is part of the mystery of her sudden appearance to lost travelers, helping them find their way with guiding song before suddenly vanishing once the travelers find their way.

she uses a big lanternlit staff to help guide her way, while also attracting some little moth friends.

rabbit yukine is miku's helpful assistant, weilding a little stick to reference miku's big staff. i thought it would be cute to dress it as a moth, and it would fly near her staff as if drawn to it's light- like a moth! hehe
