Mizu no Miyako

Humming can be heard in the lakeside city.
A fantasy appears upon the surface of the lake.

Morning awakens, and the dreamlike vision fades away like white mist.
All yesterday's sorrows are forgotten. A new day is here.

Many fleeting dreams must have vanished into the lake.
A pure white light is glowing on the water’s surface.
The waters of a vast lake spread out wide around you.
So many hopes are still reflected there.
Upon that water, I can see a bright future.
