朝、日が昇れば

夜、日が沈めば　
With sunset in the evening,

　　　　　鈍い灰の闇に
　　　　　in the darkness of dim-gray,

　　人影もおぼろげな　
　　everithing is hazy here

　　　　　　　　　　　　永遠の霧の都
　　　　　　　　　　　　in the city of endless fog.


朝、目が醒めれば
With waking in the morning,

　　　　　不機嫌な喧騒が
　　　　　the moody clamor

　　通り過ぎていく音　石壁にこだまする
　　passes with resound around the street.

夜、目を閉じれば
With doze in the evening,

　　　　　暖かい静寂が
　　　　　the sweet silence brings

　　今日の夢に幕を下ろし　眠りへと誘う
　　the curtain down on the dream, and invite us into asleep.

昨日何したっけ？　と聞けば
Asked; "How's everything going yesterday...?"

　　　　　君は遠い瞳
　　　　　You recalled from distant memory.

　　気付いて僕ら苦笑する　朝霧煙るなか
　　We noticed it, and smiled wryly in the thick morning mist.

明日何しようか？　といえば
Sayd; "How'll everything going tomorrow...?"

　　　　　ため息ついて
　　　　　We deeply sighed, and

　　夜霧に沈む街で　ただ僕らは黙り込む
　　in the street filled with the deep night mist, we sank into silence.

過去は記憶とともに
The Past, with memories,

　　　　　遙か彼方に去って
　　　　　have gone far away,

　　――掛け違えたボタン　元に戻らぬまま――
　　--with things getting wrong without repairing--

未来がくるのなら
If the future is to come,

　　　　　多くを望みはしない
　　　　　I don't want so much.

　　――ただ無限のロンド　終わって欲しいと願うだけ――
　　　--Only the end to come to this eternal Rondo, I desire--

ずっと霧も晴れずに
The fog is never gone.

　　　　　何もかも変わらない
　　　　　Everything never changes.

　　さて今度見るのは　何度目の夢だろう？
　　Now, do I see the same dream how many times?

終わりがあるのなら
If the finale comes,

　　　　　やさしく終わらせて、そう
　　　　　please softly fade-out

　　まどろんで繰り返す　永遠の今日の日を
　　the repeating days of doze, or this endless today.

Once again with morn break,
